Professor Grant McArthur is one of Australia’s leading clinician researchers in oncology. He has made seminal contributions to the field of therapeutic targeting on oncogenic protein kinases leading successful translation of research to target 4 different protein kinases that have established new standards of care for cancer patients globally. His work on targeting the BRAF protein kinase extends from the biology of BRAF mutations through phase I clinical trials and practice-changing randomized clinical studies.
